The Journalist also note that many busy bodies messaged her then that it’s a FAKE degree. It’s actually NOT. Remember many Nigerians are SBNI Smart but not intelligent. Let me explain.

However, “A honorary degree, in Latin is a degree honoris causa (“for the sake of the honor”) is when a university had waived the usual requirements, such as matriculation, residency, dissertation, and passing of comprehensive exams.

“Doctor of Humane Letters degrees should not be confused with earned academic degrees awarded on the basis of research, such as Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Science or Doctor of Theology, nor earned professional doctorates such as Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Pharmacy like mine.

“ANYWAY, many celebrities, government officials and ordinary great citizens like Linda Ikeji get those honorary degrees.
