Veteran Comic Actor, “Dejo Tunfulu” Dies At Age 49

Veteran Yoruba comic actor, Kunle Adetokunbo, popularly known as “Dejo Tunfulu” has kicked the bucket at age 49.

The cause of his death still remain unknown.

The National President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, confirmed the occurrence to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday.

The TAMPAN President, who was in panic and emotional about the news, said the late actor passed away on Thursday night.

Amusan said the sad development was shocking as late Adetokunbo still attended a party three days ago.

“Yes, we lost Dejo Tunfulu, I am so shocked because he still attended a party three days ago.

“May God grant him eternal rest, the association will communicate to the public further,” he said.

Adetokunbo is a prominent Yoruba comic actor, writer, and producer.

He was born on May 31, 1972, in Idumota, the Lagos Island area of Lagos State, and hails from the Ikija area of Abeokuta in Ogun.

He is known for “Hally The Drummer” (2016) and “Jide Jendo”
