A Nigerian journalist, Samuel Kunle, has alleged that communities in the Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State have lost their priorities as members of the oil-producing area under the mandate of the Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, (OSOPADEC).
In response to Ese-Odo’s concerned Indigene open letter to Chairman of the commission, Otunba Sam Erejuwa, Kunle said Ese-Odo should not fume at all over the marginalization, it is what they deserved, he stated.
Kunle said if Ondo South Senatorial District can’t get electricity supply for years, Ese-Odo should not expect any form of appointment from the state.
“For instance If a whole south in Ondo state can’t perceived Electricity Supply for years ( getting to 20 years now.) Whatesle do you think they should be expecting from other slot of appointments.
“When all heads are into one useless basket, definitely good and adorable appointment will be passing bye without single consent to real beneficiaries.”
Kunle alleged that the Ondo state government is not helping matters.
He stated that despite the deprivation of electricity in the region for many years, electorates are still voting for useless political criminals and their lives remain in darkness, Kunle added.
“Electricity Supply deprivation for many years in lrele, Okitipupa,Ese Odo and llaje and electorates are still voting for useless political criminals and their life still remaining inside darkness….no job,no resources to empower their standard of living,lt is a barbaric era of democracy.”
Samuel called on all politicians seeking public office in the area to look for a way to install electricity back to the region or forget about fumes in the slot of appointment in the area.
“All politicians vieing for political seat should trackout ways to install back the electricity or forget fumes on the slot of appointment in the area.”
