ONDO GOVERNOR, AKEREDOLU APPOINTS NEW AIDES

ONDO State governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, on Monday approved the appointment of two new aides to work in his cabinet.

Akeredolu approved the appointment of Chief Olugbenga Ale as his Chief of Staff while Mr. Olabode Richard is appointed as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor.

The two new appointee has respectively served in Mr. Governor’s first term in office as Chief of Staff and Special Assistant (New Media) respectively.

However, the two individuals have their way to serve in Mr. Governor second tenure in office.

According to the spokesman, Mr. Kunle Adebayo, SSA (Research & Documentation), The appointments take immediate effect.

Akeredolu along his deputy Lucky, sworn in as the 6th elected Democratic Governor of Ondo State last week.

The new appointment by Akeredolu has drawn many attention of the people in the state.

Allen Sowore, Special Assistant, New Media, to Akeredolu ex-deputy, Ajayi, stated that “Full nepotism begins in Ondo State.

Allen said “The two key appointments announced are from the Owo.
Congratulations !!!”. He added.

“As a key move to hit the the ground running in service of the people in his second tenure, the Governor of Ondo State Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN has approved the appointment of Chief Olugbenga Ale as his Chief of Staff while Mr. Olabode Richard is appointed as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor.

“Chief Olugbenga Ale is a retired permanent secretary while Mr Olabode Richard is a practicing broadcast Journalist .

“The two individuals served in Akeredolu’s first tenure as Chief of Staff and Special Assistant (New Media) respectively.

“The appointments take immediate effect.
