Amaechi: I can’t lower myself to the level of Wike

Nigeria Transport Minister Rotimi Amaechi and Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike reiterated their hostility.
Since 2014, the two have been involved in intense exchanges and clashed in a police station in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
Although the two camps have remained calm recently, Wike fired his first shot earlier this week.
. Wike laughed at Amaechi and said, “I taught him politics.”
He once said that the infrastructure development of the Amaechi Ministry is political.
Governor of Rivers state, Wike, said that due to the 2023 election, the current government is developing the Eastern Railway Line.
In what was described as a despicable attack on Wike, Amaechi once said that he did not drink before speaking.
Wike later responded by suing the federal government to protect Amaechi from corruption.
He claimed that Amaechi sold the Rivers property for US$308 million, but only accounted for US$208,000.
Wick mocked the minister. He said that even though Amaechi overestimated himself, he taught him politics.
When he appeared on the ARISE TV program on Thursday morning, Amaechi was asked to respond to Wike’s allegations, but he said: “I don’t think I want to solve the governor’s problem. I have expressed my opinion and I have moved on. .. He is my employee and I can’t feel inferior. I am the governor, I am also a spokesperson, and I am a minister. I have served as chairman of the Governor’s Forum for two terms. The same is true when I speak. Why should I discuss him?”
