Nigeria player, William Troost-Ekong, has apologized to Nigerians following the Super Eagles’ 1-1 draw against the Black Stars of Ghana at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday.

William apologizes to Nigerians for the Super Eagles’ failure to secure the Qatar 2022 World Cup ticket.

Ekong revealed that the team tried to secure the ticket but it wasn’t meant to be. He added that the group shares Nigerian emotions and they have taken responsibility as a team.

William thanked the Nigerian fans for their overwhelming support, the NFF President, who did everything possible to make the qualification happen and, of course, the Minister.
